Allaire Ross, LMSW

Many of the clients I work with are capable and successful in their daily lives yet are experiencing persistent anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, or self-doubt beneath the surface. My approach specializes in applying CBT with an attachment-focused lens to better understand behavioral and relational patterns that may be keeping us stuck in these cycles. With warmth, humor, and reflection we will work together to better understand your patterns and learn practical tools to make lasting change.

It is my goal to not only cultivate self-understanding and self-acceptance, but to also build a tangible toolbox of skills that can be of use far beyond the therapy room. To build this toolbox we will draw on the emotional regulation and interpersonal skills of DBT, reconstruct challenging and disruptive thought patterns with CBT, and incorporate mindfulness through somatic-based therapy practices.

I work with couples and adults. I have particular experience supporting working professionals, college-aged young adults, therapists-in-training, peripartum and postpartum new mothers, and couples dealing with communication or parenting issues. Please reach out via phone or email for a free 15-minute consultation to see if working with me is a good fit for you."
